Intensive Aftercare & Mentoring

Purpose: To Redeem lives by supporting men & women recovering from substance abuse, and/or transitioning from jail or prison through intensive aftercare including intervention, education, counseling, mentoring, vocational apprenticeships, and training in practical life-skills.

TrueNorth Star Ministries is working in a cooperative effort with churches, ministries, social service agencies, and the Department of Corrections to create and expand:

  • Transitional Sober Living Houses

  • Faith Based Recovery Programs

  • Vocational Rehab

  • Apprenticeships
  • Employment Opportunities

  • Partnership with Local Businesses

  • New Business Development
  • Ministries

The purpose of the Triumph Over Trauma workshops is to facilitate the full restoration of mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual health to the Church by training and equipping the Body of Christ ministry leaders, service providers, parents and caregivers to recognize and respond to survivors of trauma and abuse.

We serve in this way in order to coordinate community-wide jail ministry efforts and develop existing and new Bridge Ministry Partners to support men and women during incarceration and transition into aftercare.

Our efforts in aftercare and mentoring exist to Redeem lives by supporting men & women recovering from substance abuse, and/or transitioning from jail or prison through intensive aftercare including intervention, education, counseling, mentoring, vocational apprenticeships, and training in practical life-skills.
